A Palazzo Supper
Winter citrus, old stone and a supper cooked from the Roman countryside’s own larder.
A private supper in a Roman house that still lives in its rooms rather than showing them. The menu follows what the countryside around the city has in January, and the wine what grows within a morning’s drive.
Guests arrive at dusk for a walk through the house with the family who keep it, and sit down when the light has gone.
The evening
- A house seen as it is lived in
- A menu drawn from one region’s winter
- A table of twenty, and time to use it
