In the enchanting setting of the Castello Ducale of Monte San Giovanni Campano, an international charity gala brought together culture, elegance and a shared commitment to humanitarian values. The evening was hosted by journalist and television presenter Monica Campoli.
The event was organised by the Royal Association of Knights and Dames of the Portuguese Royal House (Reale Associazione Cavalieri e Dame della Casa Portoghese), presided over by Grand Cross Knight Angelo Musa. The gala was dedicated to supporting the Catholic girls' school in Nyundo, in the Republic of Rwanda, which serves 632 female students and requires investment in the renovation and improvement of its facilities.
The purpose of the evening was to transform the elegance of a formal gala into meaningful humanitarian action — helping improve the school environment and supporting the educational journey of hundreds of young women.
Monica Campoli guided the various segments of the programme, welcoming guests and introducing institutional and cultural contributions, while placing solidarity and the importance of creating new opportunities for younger generations at the heart of the evening.
Among the guests of honour announced in the programme was Professor Antonín Staněk, a Member of the European Parliament, alongside representatives of international delegations.
These included Professor Marek Vareka, Delegate of the Portuguese Orders for the Czech Republic, and Grand Cross Knight Marco Spiteri Binett, Delegate for Malta.
Other distinguished figures associated with the event included the President, Angelo Musa, together with Knight Flavio Prattico, Knight Pierpaolo Basile, Knight Roberto Guardini and Knight Domenico Mari, who enriched the cultural programme with a special poetry presentation.
Particular attention was devoted to the educational institution in Rwanda. The programme included a contribution from Reverend Father Don Léonidas Ngomanziza, who was scheduled to present the needs of the Nyundo school and explain the significance of the charitable initiative.
The artistic programme featured soprano Carla Arciero and Maestro Giacomo Cellucci, whose musical performances added distinction to the evening. The celebration concluded with a fireworks display in the magnificent surroundings of the Ducal Castle.
The gala represented a meeting of diverse cultures, international circles and humanitarian initiatives, united by a common desire to support education and contribute to a brighter future for the young students of Rwanda.
From the heart of Italy's Ciociaria region, a message of solidarity reached beyond national borders, reminding us that even a gesture made far away can make a meaningful difference in someone's life.
The greatest value of an evening such as this lies not merely in bringing distinguished people together, but in transforming generosity into tangible opportunities for those who need support the most.
